What is Special Education Advocacy?
Who Am I?
My name is Ashley Nelson. I am a wife of an Army Veteran and a Mom of four little girls. I am also the oldest of five children, with my youngest brother having Special Needs. I watched my parents navigate the Special Education process with my brother and it inspired me to pursue a career in Teaching Children with Special Needs. After over 10 years of teaching, I came to realize that I could help more families and students as an Advocate and Educator of the Special Education process.
